MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

At my house "Rudolph & Frosty" are already playing on the DVD player, my three little girls are very excited about Christ- mas season!! Tonight we head down to our Town Square to watch the Courthouse Christmas Tree lighting...and of course Kris Kringle himself  will arrive (on leave) from the North Pole! Come to Waxahachie, Texas to the Candlelight Tour of Historical Homes, the Parade, and Bethlehem Revisited! That in itself is an awesome sight...where ancient Bethlehem is recreated and you can walk the streets that Mary(on donkey no less) & Joseph did heading to the Inn,and ending up at the stable. A must see !! And of course come see Turquoise Rayn at the annual Waxahachie Junior Service League's "Christmas Market" here:http://waxahachiejsl.org/Christmas_Market.html   we would LOVE to see you!

Just a short update to tell you what we have been up to. Our first two shows of the season were
wonderful! We met a lot of new TR customers, and the weather was perfect.

We have exciting new designs posting weekly on our www.turquoiserayn.etsy.com website!

Carol is making the most GORGEOUS Shawls,Handbags & Vests (her faux fur textiles are made in the USA,but the fur is from Europe! Exquiste!! Loaded with vintage, antique, antler, and handmade metal buttons!! And Just in from a little Elf I know....CAROL is rumored to have made some "FUR STOCKINGS"  ooh la la !! Amazing Artisan Crafted Textiles...come check them out!

I have been buried in my studio for weeks now creating.I call myself a "Closet Beader" haha. It's very calming for me to go back to were I started. I love making ancient looking treasure necklaces...most get sold at shows before they hit the store, so I doubled my production to list a few online! They include a little of everything... Natural Honed Antler, Neolithic, Antique Trade Beads & Handcrafted Metal (sheet and clay) designs that I have had the most fun making. As most of you know, the more ancient & dug up a design looks the better. It takes a lot of work to make the look resemble and artifact.Where many love perfection...I am the total opposite :o) !! I guess I should have been an archeologist! Ancient buried stories keep me on the hunt for more! But more than that it is a very spiritual experience every time I sit down to work.I start with a prayer to help me create, and when finished, ask for  Blessing for the one who will wear it. Enough said. :o)

I will be adding some Holiday recipes and stories in the next few weeks. An inside glimpse of what makes TR tick, and continued updates on new product. I send all of you "Love & Light" and pray you a safe journey as you come and go during the busy season! God Bless, Jennifer
